AL (draft), [ca. 1777], to a prisoner of war.

Apparently replying to a complaint about cruel treatment, Boudinot says that Congress's policy toward prisoners is one of humanity, and anyone found guilty of inhumane treatment will be punished. A second paragraph, about conditions of parole, has been struck out.
